Valencia Bioparc is a kind of walking safari park set in 10 hectares of landscaped grounds at the end of the Turia river bed in Valencia. There are no cages which gives the visitor a much better view of the animals and probably gives them more of a feeling of freedom. All the animals are of African species. Since opening five years ago the Bioparc has had considerable breeding success and hopefully I will be able to report on some more in the future.

This blog is about my experiences and enjoyment of Valencia Bioparc, the content is all my own work and is my own personal recollections and opinions. None of the content or photographs can be reproduced without my express permission.
